Here's the wheel of the Corvette C8 2020 mid-engine – TechCrunch

The new Corvette C8 2020 will not be revealed for six days. But to hold us back, Chevrolet shows the steering wheel of the eighth generation vehicle.

The photo, which Chevy teased on Friday, is just the wheel. But there are clues and ideas that even this unique photo provides. On the one hand, this new generation is unlike any of its predecessors.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel features the Corvette Cross Flag logo as a centerpiece with two spokes. The controls are built into the wheel. The steering wheel has a square shape with a fairly wide opening, which suggests that the designers wanted to give an adequate view to a large digital group. (We will know it on July 18th).

Chevy has also released photos of all previous generations of the Corvette. Here is a picture of the seventh generation, with a flat-bottom design and dating from 2014 to 2019.

Corvette will debut at 7:30 pm PT July 18 in Orange County, California. But it will also be broadcast live. The stream will include Corvette video footage, a pre-hosted show and the revelation presentation, the company said.

This Corvette is eagerly awaited because it is a Corvette. But it's also because this one will have a Mid-mounted engine – which has been the subject of rumors and speculation for decades.

After the unveiling, this next-generation Corvette will tour a presentation tour to the United States, visiting some 125 dealers. The tour will include vehicle specialists and numerous interactive displays, as well as customizable parts such as seats, wheels and accessories.
