Ubisoft has revealed the details of Operation Neon Dawn, the fourth season of Rainbow Six Siege Year 5.

The new season features Thai operator Aruni, along with a “completely reworked” skyscraper map, new accessibility features and the Sixth Guardian program, which will offer a limited-time pack dedicated to a yet-announced charity. .

New accessibility features include Voice to Text and Text to Voice options for the in-game chat channel. Chat support such as narration and tips have also been added to the Options menu, and players can now adjust the settings. audio / visual cues for chat and font scaling.

As for the new operator? Aruni is equipped with an original gadget called the Surya Gate and can deploy laser gates on walls, hatches, doors, and windows that damage attackers but still give defenders access. If you want to jump into the action early, the Operation Neon Dawn Test Server will go live on November 9, allowing players to test out upcoming game features before they go live in the main game. Microsoft recently added Rainbow Six Siege to Xbox Game Pass after teasing a cryptic tweet on its social media channels.

In case you missed it, Rainbow Six Siege is offering a free next-gen console upgrade, Ubisoft has announced. This means that existing players of Ubisoft’s hugely popular competitive FPS will be able to get the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X and S version at no additional cost when upgrading within the same family of consoles.

Next-gen versions run at up to 120 fps and 4K resolution, Ubisoft added.
