OCEAN COUNTY, NJ – New Jersey has increased the number of publicly listed COVID-19 vaccination sites, and the state continues to announce new locations in Ocean County and elsewhere (see list of county vaccination sites below).
Health Commissioner Judith Persichilli said the state plans to increase the number of vaccination sites beyond 300. State officials said the goal was to vaccinate 70% of the population. adult population by spring.

Health officials said not all sites are listed publicly because some are not open to the public, such as prisons and mental hospitals.

Persichilli said the state administered at least 36% of the allocated vaccine doses. Hospitals have administered vaccines to at least 50 percent of their health workers.
