President Donald Trump tweeted Monday that he would not name the businessman and that the 2012 GOP presidential candidate, Herman Cain, had failed within the Federal Reserve.
"My friend Herman Cain, a truly wonderful man, has asked me not to appoint him to a position on the Federal Reserve," Trump said. wrote. "I will respect his wishes Herman is a great American who really loves our country!"
