Hidden Curry, Thompson playing in the game 1

Golden State Warriors starters Stephen Curry and Golden Stars Warriors Klay Thompson will play the first game of the Golden State playoff series against the Houston Rockets on Sunday after being deemed dubious due to ankle injuries.

Warrior coach Steve Kerr announced Curry's status for the first time on Sunday afternoon, adding that his injured All-Star compatriot, Klay Thompson, would be a decisive decision. But after attending pre-game warm-ups, Thompson was allowed to play and will be part of the Golden State starting training with Curry, Kevin Durant, Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala.

An MRI on Thompson's right ankle was cleaned Saturday night. Her ankle was strongly attached during Sunday's warm-up session.

Reserve guard Austin Rivers (illness) will not play for the Rockets.
