An increase in tolls came into effect on Sunday morning for MTA bridges and tunnels.
E-ZPass users crossing the Verrazzano Bridge will now pay $ 12.24. It cost $ 11.52.
If you do not have E-ZPass, you will have to pay $ 19.

Tolls at all other major MTA passes have gone from $ 5.76 to $ 6.12 for drivers using their E-ZPass.
It now costs 9.50 USD for non-E-ZPass customers.
