Combined bowling efforts in Round 2 allowed India to combine the West Indies for 210 while Virat Kohli's team defeated hosts by 257 points in the second test in Jamaica for a full sweep 2 -0. With whitewash against the West Indies, India also climbed to the top spot in the ICC World Test standings with a total of 120 points. Needing eight wickets to win, India could only handle two morning sessions on the fourth day. But after lunch, Western West Indians again collapsed under the orders of Ravindra Jadeja and Mohammed Shami. The two finished with three wickets in the second round of their birthday, Ishant Sharma, who had taken two suitcases. Jasprit Bumrah has also picked up a wicket.

Lunch time!
India got two crucial wickets from Roston Chase (12) and Shimron Hetmyer (1) in the morning session as visitors drew closer to a 2-0 series sweep at the 4th day of the Jamaica Test. The West Indies were at 145/4 at lunchtime with India at six wickets of victory. Repeating on the score of 45/2 during the night, the West Indies suffered a quick setback because Darren Bravo was excluded from the test after being unable to recover from a concussion. But then, Roston Chase and Shamarh Brooks frustrated India for an hour, denying them any box office. Ravindra Jadeja finally broke the partnership trapping Chase in front of the stumps. Ishant Sharma then hit Hetmyer for 1. The concussion replacement, Jermaine Blackwood (33 *) and Brooks (36 *) were on the brink when the referees decided to try their luck. The West Indies need another 323 races for an unlikely win.

Report of the day 3
Hanuma Vihari and Ajinkya Rahane brought India closer in a series with an undefeated 111-point stand, helping visitors set an unlikely goal for the West Indies at 468 points on the third day of Sunday's second try.
Rahane (64 steps back) and Vihari (53 steps out) relaunched the second round of India, after the first four teams were sacked for 57 points. The fifth wicket partnership allowed India to qualify at 168 for four, giving its bowlers 13 extra players to have a chance to defeat the struggling West Indies drummers.
The West Indies were 45 years old for two on stumps and with their drummers showing very little application in the series, it is unlikely that the hosts are getting closer to the huge target.
It is interesting to note that India had decided not to impose the sequel, despite a lead of 299 points by playing 117 hours of play in the West Indies for the morning.
The party led by Virat Kohli fought against fast-paced high-quality bowling in the West Indies and worked up to 73 for four out of 37 at tea. However, the impulse returned with India in the last session, while Rahane and Vihari extended their series.
Kemar Roach was in the Indian top-order but the way Vihari played it was commendable. His 76-ball sleeves included eight feet, including a beautiful straight line off Roach. Rahane also had air in control in his effort of 109 balls including eight feet and one six.
