A 35-year-old physical therapist and 35-year-old yoga instructor from Makawao Forest Reserve, Maui, Hawaii, was found alive, according to her family and a Facebook page devoted to research.

Amanda Eller was found Friday in a bed of a creek between two waterfalls by three volunteers searching the area by helicopter.

"We did it, dude! We found it, "said Javier Cantellops, one of the members of a group of friends and family members who spent the last search looking for him. according to the Honolulu Star-Advertiser.

Cantellops, whose website indicates that he was the former Ranger of the Air Force 's special operations, and his fellow researchers, Chris Berquist and Troy Helmers, l'. noticed while flying over an area more to the east of the reserve than that sought by other teams.

The Maui Police Department said Eller had been lost in the reserve on May 8 after going to a local post office, KHON2 reported. Eller's SUV was found at the base of the Kahakapao Trail.
