Hilary Duff beams in a snap of shock as she remembers a special ‘quarantine anniversary’

She announced that she was pregnant with her third child in October.

And Hilary Duff remembered her birthday in September with a sweet throwback snap shared on Instagram Tuesday.

The 33-year-old actress looked radiant as she cradled her growing belly at a home birthday party with her family due to strict quarantine measures.

Hilary smiled with joy as she sat at her dining table at her home in Los Angeles earlier this year.

She wore a colorful floral dress with ruffled sleeves and a happy birthday tiara over her golden blonde hair.

“ My husband made my 40s birthday so sweet and special this year, ” she wrote. “ I missed my friends and family … I just remember feeling happy and light … baby and I all dressed up for a party. ”

Hilary had yet to publicly announce her pregnancy as she celebrated her birthday on September 28.

She later edited her post after receiving celebratory replies: “ getting a lot of bday lol bday messages was seven. ”

The Lizzie McGuire star revealed in October that she is expecting her second child with husband Matthew Koma. She shares the co-parenting responsibilities of her eight-year-old son, Luca, with ex-Mike Comrie.

Matthew and Hilary spent family time in New York City over the Thanksgiving vacation while she took a break from filming Younger.

Duff had been exposed to COVID-19 the previous week and had to self-quarantine away from her family while awaiting negative test results.

“ Not entirely clear, but I sound positive and I mean negative, ” she captioned a photo as she hugged her kids.

Production on season 7 of the popular TVLand show was slated to start earlier this year, but was on hold for months due to the pandemic and recently resumed filming.
