His family gave him a baby shower. They are now planning funerals after a police clash that has become fatal.

At the end of the ceremony, White, an eight-month-old pregnant nurse, and her 16-year-old son, Arkeyvion White, were found dead at their home in Stockbridge, Georgia.

"We do not know how we are going to do it," said White's mother, Kathie White, to CNN's affiliate, WSB. "We could not wait to have another granddaughter."

The family had planned a surprise baby shower this weekend, said Kathie White. Now they will plan funerals.

Police were called Thursday morning in a house after a "sort of domestic dispute," according to the Henry County Police Department, just south of Atlanta.

When they arrived, there was blood in the driveway and White, 39, was lying on the other side of the garage door. But the officers could not say immediately why.

Just after an officer hit the front door, a chaotic scene unfolded.

The officer was hit in the chest and hip; and, one way or another, he entered the garage to help White. Outside, a few other policemen rushed to safety and one of them was hit in the hand.

"Do not come here," shouted the gunman to the officers. "I had a lot of blows … I had a hostage."

The camera revealed a policeman frantically kicking at the garage door, trying to make a hole for the injured policeman inside. In a few seconds, a door panel broke and the agent jumped.

After several shots, police said the gunman, Anthony Tony Bailey Jr., 47, had barricaded himself inside the house. He was White's boyfriend and had Arkeyvion somewhere in the house.

Several law enforcement agencies were called after a suspect barricaded himself Thursday in a home in Henry County, Georgia.

For more than 15 hours, police negotiators were able to talk to Bailey and constantly urged him to let the boy go. Police said that they did not believe the boy had been hurt.

"We will wait as long as possible," Captain Joey Smith told reporters on Thursday afternoon. "I hope that he will do what he said and release that individual."

Friday, around 3 am, the police entered the house.

Henry's County Police Chief, Mark Amerman, said that he had first ordered the agents to deploy gasoline so that Bailey could have the chance to get out of the House. When he did not do so, law enforcement officers entered.

"We have tried to do everything in our power to achieve a peaceful resolution of the conflict," said Amerman.

But the police found Bailey, White and the teen dead.

Arkeyvion's body was in a room upstairs and the agents found Bailey dead in another room. He apparently had a self-inflicted bullet wound, the police said.

Kathie White said her daughter was due to give birth in just a few weeks and that they had already chosen a name for White's baby.

"We had already given him the name … Antonio," said Kathie White.

Police said the injured police, Taylor Webb and Keegan Merritt, were taken to Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta.

Amerman said the officers were still recovering on Friday.
