Hisense’s new promo will let you try out some of its best TVs for 100 days

Buying a TV can be a big decision, but Hisense’s latest promotion wants to help. Starting today, the company is offering what it calls its “100 Day Warranty,” which will allow you to buy a Hisense TV, try it for 100 days in the comfort of your living room, and then, if you don’t like it, you can send it back for a full refund.

A number of Hisense’s latest models are included in the offering, including the U6G, U7G and U8G. But more surprisingly, even the 75-inch, U800GR 8K (which costs $ 2,699.99) and the high-end 100-inch and 120-inch L9G laser projection setups (which cost $ 5,500 and $ 6,000 respectively) are eligible. , which means if you’re willing to put the cost out, you can test the fanciest TVs Hisense sells.

There are of course a few caveats. You will need to purchase the TV from the Hisense-approved list (which includes Amazon, Best Buy, PC Richard, and Walmart.com) between September 9 and October 31. You will need to pay the full price of the TV in advance, with the refund coming after Hisense receives the TV. You will also need to register your TV on Hisense promotional website as part of the program within 14 days of obtaining it, otherwise you will not be able to return it.

Once you’ve done all of that, if you want to return the TV (which Hisense is probably hoping you won’t), you’ll need to come back to that same promotional website and submit a return request. As part of this request, you will need to send your receipt for the TV, along with photos proving that you did not destroy it during your 100-day trial period.

Hisense terms and conditions state: “In good condition and not permanently marked (subject to reasonable wear and tear to be expected from one hundred (100) days of use of the qualifying product for its intended use.” and when this wear does not materially affect the resale value). You will also need to return it with its original accessories, although Hisense will send a box to facilitate the return.

Once you’ve done all of that, Hisense will confirm your claim and send you a prepaid shipping label, in which case you will have 21 days to return it. Once the TV is picked up, it will issue a refund via prepaid Visa debit cards or PayPal transfer. As for returned televisions, Hisense promises that they will all be “recycled or refurbished”.

Update September 20 at 11:20 am: Hisense says it will provide return shipping hardware for televisions returned as part of its 100-day promotion, so customers don’t need to hang on to the original box.
