The owners of a 138-year-old Victorian home rolled it through the hilly streets of San Francisco en route to a new address.
The 1882 six-bedroom large green house was loaded onto giant carts and paraded six blocks through Golden Gate City from Franklin Street to Fulton Street, amazing pictures from ABC7 showed.
A band of amused spectators lined the sidewalks to watch the 1 mph procession.
The first part of the trip was to navigate one of the famous hills of the city.
“It’s always tough for a house,” said mover Phil Joy.
Joy had to obtain permits from more than 15 agencies in the city, while the owner spat out $ 400,000 in fees and moving costs to move the historic home, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.
To make room for the mobile home, parking meters were torn off, tree branches were cut and road signs were moved.
At its old location, the house was valued at around $ 5 million, according to Zillow.
A building of 60 apartments will soon see the light of day on the now vacant site.
