‘Hit and Run’ canceled, not returning for season 2 on Netflix

It’s a and it’s made for Netflix Hit and run. Streamer canceled spy drama after just one season, Deadline reports.

Featuring and produced by FaudaLior Raz, the nine-part thriller centered on Segev Azulay, a former Israeli mercenary turned father who was thrown back into the world of espionage after his wife’s violent death unearthed a world full of mysteries and secrets and lies. Sanaa Lathan (The case) played the role of Naomi Hicks, an old adventure from Segev’s past and a relentless investigative journalist.

TVLine readers gave the two the first and the finale got an average rating of “B +”, while season 1 got an overall rating of “A-” (read post mortem).

Hit and run is the last freshman series to be discontinued at Netflix, following recent cancellations of Cursed, Country Comfort, The Crew, Daddy stop embarrassing me, The Duchess, The Grand Army, The Irregulars and Jupiter’s legacy. Additional sets that are not returning include Collage (canceled after two seasons) and Mr. Iglesias (canceled after three games).
