Hobbs & Shaw's Hollywood premiere after the scare – Update – Deadline

Saturday night, premiere of the action movie Universal Fast & Furious presents: Hobbs And Shaw was suddenly interrupted when a bottle of water spilled onto an electrical outlet and created sparks, said a source Deadline.

The incident inside Dolby Theater in Hollywood occurred just before 8 pm PT, scary the participants and forcing some people to flee the theater. At one point, the entire section of the central orchestra before was suddenly thrown and rushed out of the institution.

Deadline had a journalist inside, who described the event as chaotic. However, shortly thereafter, the reporter stated that the participants were back at the theater and that the event had resumed.

Hobbs And Shaw Executive star and producer Dwayne Johnson came on stage after the incident to reassure the audience and joked, "It was not a surprise."

Johnson was referring to a speech at the beginning of the premiere, when he spoke for about ten minutes, congratulating the cast, director David Leitch and Universal executives for their work on the upcoming film. At one point, Johnson asked the audience to stay until the end of the movie for a "surprise."

When reached by Deadline, the Los Angeles Police Department said that he was aware of the situation, understood that she had been resolved and that police were present at the scene.

The Los Angeles Fire Department has not responded to a request for comment.

Fast & Furious presents: Hobbs And Shaw co-stars Jason Statham, Vanessa Kirby, Eiza Gonzalez, Idris Elba and Helen Mirren. The film follows Fast furious the rivals – the lawyer Luke Hobbs (Johnson) and the mercenary Deckard Shaw (Statham), who must form an unlikely alliance when a cyber-genetically improved villain threatens the future of our world.

No after-party was scheduled after tonight's premiere because Johnson and Statham were going abroad for a press conference abroad. The film is scheduled to open nationwide on August 2nd.
