Homan hits back at AOC in border ‘push’: she must accept this as a ‘national security crisis’

Fox News contributor Tom Homan hit back at Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez for her recent criticism of the term “surge” and called on the New York MP to “accept” the border crisis as a “national security” crisis. Ocasio-Cortez rejected the term “push”, arguing that it sounds militaristic.

TOM HOMAN: Oh, absolutely. But you haven’t seen her since. Listen, the men and women of the border patrol say it’s a wave. The men and women of the border patrol say it’s a crisis. The men and women of the border patrol know that these cartels use these children and family units to lead them across the border and immobilize their property. 40% of the border patrol is assigned to the facility no longer has a line. So these cartels smuggle drugs and bad people through unsupervised areas. It is a national security crisis. Yes [Ocasio-Cortez] I can’t understand or accept this, so she shouldn’t be in Congress at all.
