This week, Apple has quietly updated the HomePod product page on Apple.com, including some release dates for upcoming features (via 9to5Mac). On September 30th, HomePod will be able to tune into live radio stations with Siri commands, after this feature was first announced at WWDC in June (and made available to some users in Germany in July ).

Additional AccueilPod features, including multi-user support and music transfer, will not be released until "later this fall". With iOS 13, Siri sure AccueilPod can recognize the voices of different AccueilPod users, by queuing everyone's favorite music on the speakerphone. Handoff allows you to transfer all the multimedia files you have read on your iPhone or iPad to AccueilPod.

A new feature has also been added to the AccueilPod page on Apple.com, titled "Ambient Sounds". Apple says you can relax listening to the waves, forest birds, rainstorms, etc., with this feature, which should also appear in the fall.

It looks like the company is striving to make ambient noise a big novelty of the AccueilPod, after users have asked since the launch of the speaker in early 2018. Although Apple Music has a multitude of ambient noise playlists, this should make it even easier to play sounds relaxing on AccueilPod.

Apple has made many announcements this week through the iPhone event of yesterday, including the all-new iPhone 11 family, the new 10.2-inch iPad and the Apple Watch Series 5.
