CHARLOTTE, NC (WBTV) – A North Carolina auto inspector has reached a milestone in terms of mileage: his 2000 Honda Accord has eclipsed 1 million miles.
"This car was absolutely fantastic!" Said Dexter Mills in a Facebook message.
Mills, who comes from Durham Region, has released a photo of his odometer on social media when he took this milestone in March. He said that his agreement was trying to tell him that she was ready to retire.
The former automotive technician said that he would joke with his colleagues about the fact that cars have their own minds.
In his Facebook message, he said that one of the car's warning lights had begun to flash for the first time in its history after passing the million-mile milestone.
"A quick diagnosis did not reveal any abnormalities," Mills said. "I think I got the message."
