In March of this year, former Russian double-faced spy Sergei Skripal and his daughter Yulia Skripal were poisoned by Novichok in Salisbury. The town of Amesbury, where suspected poison has been reported, is located 12 kilometers north of Salisbury.

The United Kingdom accused Russia of being the mastermind of Scrippar's father-in-law poisoning case, but Russia's anger denied it.
