64 year-old Qin Yongmin
was arrested and detained dozens of times from 1970 to 2010. He was imprisoned for 22 years and arrested in early 2015. He was the leader in the monitoring of human rights in China. He published articles online, commented on Chinese government policies and held seminars. Qin Yongmin was sued in subversion of state power in 2016. After more than three years of detention, the court closed the door Tuesday.
