Orbis launched a rescue operation in Linyi, Shandong Province, in June 2011. The project lasted three weeks, and specialists from around the world first reviewed emergency cases and special cases before proceeding with surgery. During this period, a "practical" training will be provided: the specialists will be the surgeons, the local doctors will be the badistants and the local doctors will be distributed to other local doctors and invited to ask questions at any time.
