The tourism industry in Hong Kong continued to recover: the number of visitors to Hong Kong in the first half recorded double-digit gains. From January to June, the total number of pbadengers reached 30.06 million, up 10.1% from one year to the next, mainly thanks to the increase in the number of tourists from continent which grew by 13.4% year-on-year to reach 23.689 million people. For international pbadengers, pbadengers in the regional short-distance market have not stopped falling, down 1.5% to 4,312 million in the first half of the year.
