Guerilla Games and Sony have been shy Western forbidden horizonThe release date of the latter other than a vague 2021 window, but they are getting a bit clearer. As Kotaku explains, Sony shared a PlayStation 5 launch video stating that West forbidden will arrive in the second half of 2021. While it’s not yet very specific, it’s clear that you shouldn’t expect open-world PS5 (and PS4) play to surprise you this spring.
It is also a somewhat anticipated schedule. Guerilla and Sony only briefly teased the new one Horizon game in June, and have shared limited details since – it would have been a pleasant surprise if a game on the scale of West forbidden was ready just a few months after the debut of the PS5.
