Everything is apparently on deck at Guerrilla Games as the Dutch studio tries to wrap up development of Horizon Forbidden West from home. The team has confirmed in a new blog post that patches and updates for the PC version of Horizon Zero Dawn will now be less frequent to ensure the big budget sequel is ready for its eventual launch on PlayStation. 5 and PlayStation 4. This is currently planned. will take place at some point this year.

The message reads: “As our team continues to develop our next title Horizon Forbidden West, we are moving to less frequent updates for Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition for PC after this patch. Please note that we will continue to update monitor our community spaces as always! ”This follows a number of PC patches that broke the port. Now that it’s in good shape, Guerrilla Games’ attention turns to Horizon Forbidden West. While this has probably always been the priority – it just means that more employees can now dedicate their time to development and refinement. We’re not entirely convinced the game will hit its 2021 release window, but it looks like the developer is doing their best to make it happen.
