The Republican Representative of the Judiciary Committee of the House of Representatives Doug Collins on Monday urged the Democrats to immediately summon the Special Advocate Robert Mueller to the Capitol Hill for it to testify on his still-secret report on the contacts of the Russia with President Donald Trump – the investigation.
"If you are looking for both transparency and the American public to know the full contours of the Special Advisor's investigation, the public testimony of Special Advisor Mueller himself is undoubtedly the best way to reach this goal, "Collins wrote in a letter to the committee chair, Rep. Jerrold Nadler (DN.Y.).

Nadler did not immediately reply for a comment.
Collins said the Democrats were essentially fuming about the urgency of getting Mueller 's full report, asserting in his letter that the only way to access Mueller' s underlying evidence was to … open an indictment investigation.
This is part of an ongoing judicial debate over Congress's ability to see the grand jury documents that escalated last week, when a federal court further reduced the judges' capacity to prosecute. Allow access to such testimonials and evidence.
"[Y]You refuse to go down this road for political reasons and you have chosen the path of greater resistance and lesser legality: to attack the Attorney General for refusing to break the law while misleading the public on what the law requires or allows, "Collins wrote.
Collins said that without an indictment investigation, calling Mueller himself to testify would be the best way to know his findings – and that the hearing should take place during the last week of April. "Although the House should be suspended that week, I think we can agree that this issue is too important to wait, and the members of the Committee will surely return to Washington at such a crucial time in the history of our country, "he said.
