Houston police identified the suspect in a road rage shooting incident that left a teenager dead more than three weeks ago after a Houston Astros game.
“This is the face of the man who now believes the police killed my son,” Paul Castro said of Gerald Wayne Williams, 31, accused of filming and killing his son, David Castro, 17, on July 6. “It hurts.”

The Houston Police Department identified Williams on Friday, posting a photo of him on Twitter and offering a reward of up to $ 10,000 for the advice that led to his arrest.
He is accused of shooting 17-year-old David Castro in the head while sitting in the passenger seat of his father’s van as he left an Astros game on the evening of July 6.
Williams is said to have followed the van after he and David Castro’s father exchanged gestures indicating that traffic was not moving after the game.

“Whatever offense he committed against me or my vehicle, the murder of my son and maybe the rest of his life in prison, was it worth it?” Paul Castro asked after the death of his son.
Paul Castro called 911 shortly after the shooting and David Castro was taken to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
“I found out that after they murdered my son, he kept chasing us. After murdering my son, he continued chasing. I was driving 100 miles an hour to get away. of them and that was not good enough. This person is dangerous, “said Paul Castro earlier this month.

“There is David’s waist hole in my heart and there is David’s waist hole in this world,” he added. “David was a donor. He’s a son of Houston. He was born and raised here.”
Paul Castro praised the police for handling the investigation and called Williams’ alleged violence against his son a coward.
“Right now he’s hiding,” said Paul Castro. “He should go ahead and stand up. He shot my son in the back of the head. It’s not exactly manly behavior. He should get up now, surrender, so that no one other is hurt. “
