Houston law enforcement officials rescued nearly 30 people from a house allegedly involved in human trafficking, according to reports.
Houston police responded at around 9 p.m. on Thursday to reports of a man running down the street in his underwear and shouting he had been kidnapped. The man told police he was held at a house on Raven Ridge Drive, according to Click 2 Houston.
Police entered the house, finding 25 men and a woman inside, who could be minors, KHOU-11 reported. The total number of alleged victims rose to 29 men on Friday morning.
A video posted on Twitter showed that the police were removing people from the house, most of them in their underwear.

The victims came from different countries in Latin America, including Honduras, El Salvador, Mexico and Cuba. Some told police they had been there for a week.
Most of the victims said they were arrested in Brownsville two days and a week ago, ABC 13 reported.

Three people have been arrested, who could be “coyotes” – people hired to smuggle people across the border – but it is not known whether they are suspicious.
“That’s a pretty large number for us to meet,” Cmdr. Jonathon Halliday of the Houston Police Department said.
The victims were taken to Ridgemont Elementary School for shelter, with some people in the community apparently offering to provide clothing.
