Frazier privately told some people he believed he had a legitimate chance at landing the Texans job and tried to assemble a coaching staff in case he did. Bieniemy had a solid staff, but some of his candidates are starting to take other jobs.

Frazier is said to have had a solid interview with the Texans and already had head coaching experience from his time with the Minnesota Vikings. Bieniemy is seen in many circles as a head coach on hold, although he has recently been overlooked by several teams.
