Houston Texans running back David Johnson is unlikely to play against the Cleveland Browns on Sunday, a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
Johnson did not train on Wednesday, three days after suffering a concussion against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Interim coach Romeo Crennel said on Wednesday Johnson’s status was “on hold”.
Duke Johnson is set to start on Sunday after winning the bulk of the races when David Johnson crashed into the Jaguars. He had 16 carries for 41 yards and one touchdown and four catches for 32 yards in Houston’s 27-25 win.
