PButtigieg is not a middle child, but he seems to be one of them. South Bend, in Indonesia, mayor and presidential candidate is in a low voice, underestimated and conciliatory. If anyone knows how to bridge the gap between the two camps, it may be him.

He may not agree with society's opposition to gay marriage, but he stressed the importance of reaching people of different origins and identities.
"What can we talk about that brings us together? Because I have no idea what it is like to walk in the shoes of so many other people. But I can talk about some elements of what I'm wearing with me and see if it rhymes with their life experience, "he said. "Good art has that. Good music to that. Good literature has that. … and a good policy must also have this quality.

But Buttigieg, who would be the first openly homosexual country president if elected, thinks Chick-fil-A and his opponents can at least have a conversation.
Buttigieg earned her Harvard B.A. in History and Literature, which explains her understanding that the arts, literature, and quality politics involve finding commonalities rather than shaming opponents.
"We have to go back to that," he said. So far, the Buttigieg campaign is on the right track.
