How DNA and social media led to suspect the murder of a girl from Newport Beach in 1973

The girl disappeared on July 6, 1973, while she was returning home after her summer classes in what was then Lincoln Intermediate – today's Lincoln Elementary – in Corona del Mar. His body, still dressed in the white dress adorned with blue flowers sewn by his mother, was found the next day. She had been strangled and her body thrown into the brush.
