In America, money and education can mean the difference between a long life and an early death, and these differences can be played street by street.
With an average of 81.3 years across the state, California's 35 million plus people enjoy the second-longest life expectancy in the United States (with an average of 82 years, the Hawaiians live the longest). However, in affluent suburbs, the life span is longer.
