Grand Theft Auto’s fictional town Los Santos has its own underground modified car scene. GTA Online’s Los Santos Tuners update launches on July 20, bringing dedicated tuner-based missions and races.
The big news is the LS Car Meet, which lets you display your tricked rides in a giant warehouse and mingle with like-minded gears without having to worry about being harassed by the police or hiding from gunmen. elite psychopaths with an unexplained vendetta against you.
Become an LS Car Meet member and you will unlock a “Reputation” progression which brings more benefits with each new level reached. There’s an underground test track where you can drive, drift, and race, and there are new races that take place both in and out of the warehouse.

But just as interesting is the news that Rockstar Games is launching a bunch of new tuner-themed cars in the GTA universe of make-believe brands Annis, Dinka, Übermacht and Vapid.
A total of 17 new cars will join GTA Online before the end of the summer, including 10 at launch on July 20. Check out the images below and see how many you recognize.
Karin Futo GTX
Regular GTA players know the Karin Futo, a clean copy of the 1980s Toyota AE86 liftback. This GTX version snatches the Sprinter Trueno version with the pop-up lights immortalized in the street racing manga series Initial D.
Karin Calico GTF
The designers at Rockstar call this the Karin Calico GTF, but does anyone else see the mid-90s Toyota Celica T200 in that rear end?
Annis Euros
This new Annis Euros is a dead ringtone for the Nissan 370Z, which makes sense considering that there was already an Annis Euros in GTA riffing on her grandfather 300ZX.
Vapid Dominator GTT
Classic Ford fans will have no trouble recognizing the front end of the 1969 Mustang on this Vapid Dominator GTT.
In recent years, the ZR350
The original ZR-350 was back in GTA: San Andreas, but it returns as Annis ZR350 for the Los Santos Tuners update, looking even more like an FD generation Mazda RX-7 than ever before.
Dinka RT3000
The badges say Dinka RT3000, but our brains say it’s a Honda S2000 with a hardtop and a front splitter that cuts the pegs.
Vulkar Warrener HKR
Cross a Datsun pickup with a first-gen Skyline GT-R front end and you’ve got a Hakotora. Or in the GTA universe, a Vulkar Warrener HKR.
Obey Tailgater S
Audi no longer makes an RS4 sedan in the real world, but you can drive the next best thing in GTA if you get your hands on the Obey Tailgater S.
Dinka Jester RR
The original Dinka Jester was an homage to Honda’s / Acura’s NSX hybrid with a bit of BMW i8 for good measure, but the designers of the Jester RR clearly have a soft spot for the latest Toyota Supra.
In recent years, Remus
The gold wheels and blue paintwork on the rear quarters of this coupe have a distinctly Subaru Impreza vibe, but the car Remus is really riffing on is the Nissan Silvia S13.
Did you recognize them all? Rockstar says there are still seven new tuner cars to come. Let us know in the comments what you hope they are.
