If you read about the breakup of the Beatles, it's impossible to ignore the various hostilities between the group members. The quarrel between John Lennon and Paul McCartney always attracted the most interest, but there were others.

After the separation of the Beatles, the members of the group separating, you will find that the name of Ringo appears in the credits of the solo albums of the others (and vice-versa). Ringo and John, in particular, had a strong relationship and their first albums showed that they were evolving together in many ways.

What would the Beatles look like once they broke loose solo? The first offering, Paul's McCartney (April '70), did not tell us anything again. However, George's All things must pass (November 1997) revealed a real hidden power in the shadows of Lennon and McCartney.
John's Lennon / Plastic Ono Band, released a few weeks after George's recording, also rocked the music world and deterred rock critics. To play drums on an album that was so important to John, he chose his former band member, Ringo. In interviews with Jann Wenner, he explained why.

In March 1973, Ringo was ready to go to work and his friends were ready to lend a helping hand. George Harrison, Billy Preston, Marc Bolan of T. Rex and Robbie Robertson of the group were among those who contributed to the recording.
On the first track of Side One, Ringo sang a song written by his former band member John: "I'm the best". You will also find John in the credits of the piano and choirs. This is really the ideal Ringo vehicle, and the video does not disappoint either.
Originally written as a song for himself, John adapted the melody to Ringo's personality. By all accounts, it was an unprecedented success for his former drummer.
With their own solo debut in the top 10 (Ringo number 2 on the Billboard charts), the two former Beatles could add these releases to their list of achievements.
In 1974, when Ringo went to record Good evening Viennahe called John and asked for another favor (a song, for example). John engages with the title song, "(That's all! Downnight) Goodnight Vienna." This is what old friends do.
