It’s not every day that you lose a name in a Taylor Swift song.

Corn James, Ines and Betty are not just anyone, these are the lucky girls of Blake lively and Ryan reynolds. So when Taylor and her actor boyfriend, Joe alwyn, wrote the high school love song “betty” last year, whose names did they include in the lyrics? Of course, the three daughters of their close friends.

Over a year after the song was released, Ryan spoke on SiriusXM Jess Cagle’s show about how he feels about his children’s names being included on his hit.

“The names are the names of our children, but you know we trust him implicitly”, the free guy the actor shared on Thursday, August 5. “She is very sensitive to all of this. And obviously the song has nothing to do with our children other than the names of our children.”

As he said, Taylor’s words aren’t about the real James, 6, Inez, 4, and Betty, almost 2. In fact, her character James is a high school student who breaks Betty’s heart by cheating on her, and Inez is basically the gossip girl in town.
