Avoid tolls via the desktop version of Google Maps is quite similar to the mobile application process, with some minor changes:
1. Go to maps.google.com.

3 Click on Directions, then enter your starting point. As you type, the options are filled automatically below the search bar. Click the right button (or, if you added your address as a preset, as work or at home, just select this option).

5 Under the section called "Avoid", check the box next to "Tolls" – your new route will be generated.
The tactile nature of the printed instructions can give you peace of mind when moving to new areas. However, if you have enough battery charge to keep your phone alive during your trip, you can try another useful feature of the GPS tool: Offline Maps. In this way, traveling to more remote areas will not be a problem and you will not have to waste ink (or buy a printer) to meet your needs.
