Now is the time to complete a complete new Easter Egg in Call of Duty Zombies. The Mauer Der Toten Season 4 map is booming and our guide will take you step by step through completing it.
In addition to trying to survive as many turns as possible in Mauer Der Toten, there are additional objectives and activities for players.
Research needs to be done to rebuild the German robot Klaus, players need to find numbers and other items to get the powerful CRBR-S magic weapon, and of course there’s the Easter Egg main quest at to finish.
We’ve put together a complete guide on what to do and where you’ll need to go to make the Mauer Der Toten Easter Egg in Black Ops Cold War Zombies.
Wall of the Dead Easter Egg Guide
Buckle up as there will usually be many stages that make up this difficult and grueling quest in Mauer Der Toten.
Follow each step carefully and you should have no problem doing it yourself.
1. Build Klaus
As we mentioned earlier, one of the fun side activities players can do while playing Mauer Der Toten is building Klaus. He is a sassy robot that will aid players in the lobby by shooting enemies and reviving all downed players.
But before all that, you will have to go through the map and perform some steps to assemble it. Check out our in-depth guide on how to build Klaus in Mauer Der Toten to complete this first step.
2. Obtain the CRBR-S magic weapon
Now that you have Klaus impatient and ready to go, it’s time to use him to get the combination from the safe in the room where you found his hands.
Again, that requires you to complete a few different tricky tasks to get the Incredibly Powerful Wonder Weapon, and we’ve made the process simple with our guide on how to get the CRBR-S Wonder Weapon guide here.
3. The sewer wall
With Klaus built and the CRBR-S in your hands, we can now move on to the next crucial steps in the quest.
You will need to go underground and access the “Access to Sewers” room. Here, select the wall in the image, and in the same way, Klaus opened the locker to collect the black light, Klaus will actually erase the wall.
Behind this wall is another reinforced wall, and to pass this one you will have to keep killing zombies until you drop the “Blazer Mod Kit” for the CRBR-S.
Equip the mod, then unleash hell on that wall until it melts a hole, then enter through it.
4. The secret laboratory
You are now inside the lab where the main action will take place, and the first action is to keep playing until the red shields protecting two pieces of equipment disappear.
Then, collect the three cartridges on the middle platform which were protected by the shield and kill zombies with the CRBR-S. Head to the other device that was protected, then claim the ‘End Station Lure’.
5. Look for Mauer Der Toten for Essence Harvesters
Now is the time to get back to the map and start finding Gas Scavengers, and there are three in total.
Once arrived right away, activate it by placing an empty can in the machine, and throw the gas trap on the ground. This will spawn storms, kill them, and then collect the now full gas canister.
The tricky part comes next, as you’ll have to take the cartridge back to the secret lab and not let it get damaged. Once there, place it on the platform where you originally took the cartridge from, grab another trap, then rinse and repeat with the remaining two reapers.
6. Upgrade Klaus
We leave the Secret Lab again, and now it’s time to upgrade Klaus. To do this, you need to keep spawning Klaus after he recharges. Approach him in his chair or find radios scattered around the map.
The goal is to allow Klaus to accumulate enough victims so that the screens of the “Garment Factory” booth turn green. Once done, command Klaus to enter the unit and then you will have to defend him for a full minute.
Once done, you must now head to the metro and get to the train tracks. He will say he will stop one of the trains, then you will need to enter the nearby “switch control room” and trigger the rail switch.
7. The train
Return to the platform to observe Klaus as he miraculously stops one of the trains. Now is your chance to board the train, grab the ‘Bomb’ and ‘Rico’s Key Card’. With these two claimed items, it’s time for another trip to the Secret Lab.
As soon as you are inside, place the newly acquired bomb in the cradle containing the three filled cartridges. From there it’s another trip, this time to the room where you can find Klaus recharging in his chair.
In this room is a computer with the words “Keycard Required” displayed on the monitor. Insert said key card and select “Browse files”.
The goal is still not complete as you now want to craft Klaus’ headgear.
8. Klaus’s headgear
From the computer you will now have to walk all the way to the start of the game on the roof where you originally spawned. If you look up you will see a mini pylon that you need to pull up with the CRBR-S.
An object will then fall from it and it will be an “antenna” that you can pick up. Then get to the “Electronics Store” and shoot all of the radios inside the store – collecting the “Transistor” in the process.
Finally, go back down to the “ghost station” and you will see a power box above the ticket office for you to claim the “electronic cards”.
With everything in your possession, return to Klaus’ chair and press “Craft Hacking Helm”. Access the computer again, and this time Klaus will give us access to the satellite.
9. Activate the satellites
Our first is in the room with Klaus, just press ‘Activate Disruptor Satellite’ on the computer that requested the Keycard, and that will be the first done.
Let’s move on to the next one, and we can find it in “West Berlin Street” in a green tent next to the Trial Station. The latter can be located in the “streets of East Berlin” and is also tucked away in a green tent.
10. The Boss Rush + Radioactive Materials
Just when you think things couldn’t get more painful, head to “Checkpoint Charlie”, and now you’ll have to endure a wave of tough Megatons, Manglers, Mimics, and Krasny Soldiers.
When the last Megaton is killed, go get the “Uranium Rock”. This will trigger a five minute countdown, so bring the stone to the workbench in the tent where you found the second satellite in “West Berlin Street”.
Craft the Uranium Device and quickly head to the start of the map to attach the device to one end of the zipline that travels between two buildings.
G Go back to ‘Checkpoint Charlie’, grab the other radioactive rock, repeat the whole process, and this time attach the device to the other end of the zipline. If it works, the materials will fly along the zipline until they collide with each other, explode, and drop “Cleansed Rock”.
Bring it to the Secret Lab and drop it on the platform with the three cans. Unfortunately, the whole process now has to be repeated to create one more track of Cleansed Rock. This means killing another Megaton, claiming the materials, and repeating all of the previous steps, for example, bringing the boulder to the table, crafting the device, and attaching them to the zipline.
Collect the second boulder produced by the zipline explosion and we can finally make our way to the end of the game.
11. Secret Lab and fight against Doctor Valentina Boss
It is finally time to end this once and for all. Doctor Valentina will appear through a portal in the Secret Lab, and now you must kill her!
The main point to remember here is that you have to stay consistent and damage it. If she is not injured for a few seconds, she will regain her shield.
One crucial thing to note here is that you can go around the map, buy armor, ammo, build Scorestreaks, etc. to help you in this fight.
She has different phases and attacks, the main one to watch out for is movement that can absorb the health of other zombies – prevent her from doing that.
Its other devastating threat is a charged attack that can one shot you, even if you have full armor. Take your time, be strategic, and you should be able to beat her.
After the cutscene, there is one task, and that is to protect Klaus as he slowly walks towards the portal. Do it and you will have completed the Mauer Der Toten Easter Egg!
