Pokemon Go unleashed the brilliant form of Entei, and it's the perfect day to take one. Pokemon Go is organizing an Entei Raid Day from 4pm to 7pm local time to celebrate the end of last week's Global Challenge. During the mini-event, players can find Entei raids in all gyms. If they are lucky, they might even meet Entei's brilliant form after defeating him. The Brilliant Pokemon are Entei versions of different colors and are prized by many players because of their rarity. Today marks the first day that players can potentially meet and catch the brilliant form of Entei, which has a brown color palette instead of its usual dark red.
Entei is one of the most powerful fire-type Pokémon Pokemon Go, which is now a great opportunity to grow Entei candies or add Pokémon to your collection. As a pure Fire Pokémon, Entei is weak against Water Type Pokémon, Rock Type and Ground. The best against Entei is the legendary Pokemon Kyogre, which is both bulky and has access to the most powerful water-type moves of the game. Feraligatr (with hydraulic pump), Palkia (with hydraulic pump) or Rampardos with all types Rock movements are also available.
Other solid options include Gyarados with water-like movements, Tyranitar with Rock, Rhyperior and Garchomp movements. Players can also complete their team with more common water type Pokémon like Vaporeon, Omastar, Swampert and Blastoise, or with Pokémon like Alolan Golem and Salamence.
As with all raids, the key to defeating Entei is choosing Pokémon with the right moves and finding a large part of the raid. Entei can easily be defeated by groups of five or more experienced trainers. Due to the festivities of today, it should not be too difficult to find a raid party, especially if there is an area with a high concentration of gyms.
The day of the Entei raid will take place between 16 and 19 hours.
