Pokémon Go Fest 2021 is adding plenty of new content, including Pop Star Pikachu and Rock Star Pikachu as bonuses in a new set of event-exclusive Special Research.
These are two more variations of the iconic electric mouse Pokemon of the cosplay line, each with an exclusive movement, as well as its signature look. Pop Star Pikachu and Rock Star Pikachu are both available to players who complete the “The Melody Pokémon” special research, although you can only get one, not both, at this time. This decision impacts several other Special Search factors as it has branching paths that can change the matches you get.

To get Pop Star Pikachu or Rock Star Pikachu, and their corresponding poses, players will need to purchase the $ 5 Go 2021 Festival Ticket. This is the only way to access the exclusive search for the event and other content that will be locked behind the event paywall.
