It is made up of a variety of tasks, a number of which may leave some fans scratching their heads. To keep it simple, fans looking for the Abandoned Shrine should open their maps and look for a path just east of Konda Village. This path points in a northeast direction towards Mt. Yougou, and players can find an image that highlights his precise position below. From there, players will be invited to investigate the Abandoned Shrine, and this can be done by speaking with the Mysterious Shadow that is a short distance from the aforementioned first arch. This isn’t the only mysterious shadow fans will need to speak to during the sacrificial offering, as they must continue the investigation by speaking to several of them. Those Genshin Impact NPCs can be found scattered around the designated area in Inazuma, and there is a particularly delicate one standing atop the roof of the shrine.

After solving the investigation at the Abandoned Shrine, players will need to travel to the Grand Narukami Shrine to start another one. Fans will have to do some serious rock climbing in Genshin Impact in order to reach that location, and they will receive the Mysterious Memento Lens upon arrival. This unique gadget will play a central role in the next part of the Sacrificial Offering quest, where it is used to observe statuettes of the Earth Kitsune at the Abandoned Shrine.

This isn’t even the end of the quest, as players will then find themselves reciting holy words and finding and destroying a barrier. When this is all over, fans will finally receive an indication that they have completed the Sacrificial Offering and unlocked another World Quest in Genshin Impact. This quest is called Cleanse the Taint, and a guide may also be useful for players who wish to take it on.
