How to pre-order the new iPad 2019 10.2 inch

Apple unveiled Tuesday a long list of new products and services: three new iPhones, the Apple Watch Series 5 and launch dates and prices for the Apple Arcade and Apple TV Plus services. Perhaps a little lost in all this, the company is also stuck in a new iPad announcement, too.

The new seventh-generation iPad includes a larger screen of 10.2 inches, compared to the 9.7-inch of the previous model, and a connector for Apple Smart keyboard Case. Note, however, that it has the same A10 processor – which first appeared in the iPhone 7 of 2016 ($ 200 at Walmart) – like the previous model of 9.7 inches.

7th generation iPad pricing

The new Apple iPad starts at 329 USD for the 32GB Wi-Fi model and at 459 USD for the 32GB LTE-compatible cellular model. Increasing storage to 128 GB adds $ 100 to the total cost of each configuration. Education discounts get the entry-level price at $ 300.

In the UK, iPads start at £ 349 and LTE models start at £ 479. In Australia, prices start at AU $ 529 and AU $ 689 for LTE.

What is the difference between this model and the 9.7-inch 6th generation model from 2018?

Not much. As mentioned above, the largest 10.2-inch Retina display, which replaces the 9.7-inch display used since the first-generation iPad in 2010.
