The latest Destiny 2 update brought some major changes to the game, including a new in-game currency called Cabal Gold. It’s pretty rare, so here’s how you can earn it in Season 13.
Destiny 2’s all-new Season of the Chosen expansion is finally here and is set to run through May 11, 2021. The final season brought a plethora of new content to the game such as Strikes, Weapons, Vendors and more. again.
In order to unlock some of the cool new features, you will need to collect the new in-game currency known as Cabal Gold. It’s incredibly rare and hard to find, but there are a few ways you can get it on your own.
How to get Cabal Gold in Destiny 2
Cabal Gold can be used to unlock a new item called the Hammer of Evidence, which will allow you to smash open chests at the end of Battlegrounds matches, obtain Shadow Engrams, and receive new buffs.
The best way to get Cabal Gold is by completing certain activities in Destiny 2, including Crucible, Gambit, Public Events, Playlist Strikes, Nightmare Hunts, and The Blind Well. The better you play, the higher your chances of getting that payout.
Another method is to play through dungeons and raids, but these are currently experiencing a bug that prevents players from receiving the currency. For this reason, we recommend that you stick to other activities for now.
If you want to upgrade the Hammer of Evidence, you’ll need to earn a total of 84 Cabal Gold and then bring them to HELM, which is the central base of operations during this season. You can learn how to unlock and upgrade the hammer in our guide.
It should be borne in mind that even successfully completing in-game activities will not guarantee that you will receive Cabal Gold coins. They are difficult to obtain unless you are extremely lucky while playing.
