How to see which apps use the data each month

If you do not have an unlimited wireless data plan – and sometimes even if you have one – you should pay attention to applications that use the most data on your iPhone.

Sometimes, for example, an application you use frequently can use much more of your data than you think. In my case, I found that Twitter uses almost as much as Apple Music, for example. And, if you start getting warnings about using too much data, it may be that a buggy application uses more than it should.

It is recommended to check which applications use most of your data. This way, you will remember to connect to a Wi-Fi network when using a data-hungry application or limiting applications before exceeding your limit.

It only takes a few seconds to check. Here's how to do it on an iPhone, even if the process is relatively similar on an Android phone.

• Open parameters
• Press "Cellular"
• Scroll to "Cellular Data"

You will now see a list of applications that use the most data. If you click on the "Last billing period" tab, you will see what hit you last month. This is the most accurate representation of the applications that consume your data because they include a full billing period.

On my phone, I find that last month, the App Store used 10.5 GB of my data. To save the data this month, I could make sure that I was using the App Store only when I connected to a Wi-Fi network, instead of downloading apps when I was in. displacement.

Pro Tip: On the same Cellular Settings page, you can see how much data you've used so far in the current month. If the price is much lower than what you pay, say about 3 GB when you pay 10 GB per month, then consider adjusting your wireless bill to save money. Or, if you use a lot more, consider subscribing to an unlimited plan. Just be aware that most unlimited plans are not as unlimited as they say.
