Sony’s PlayStation 5 is finally here, and it’s more than just a game console. A recent blog post from Twitch’s community marketer explains how gamers can stream games to it.
The PS5 offers everything you need to stream games; Hence, there is no need to have a PC or laptop setup if you have the next generation console from Sony.

Set up a Twitch account before streaming to PlayStation 5
You can easily set up a Twitch account from a phone or computer. It is recommended that you download the Twitch app on your mobile device, in order to adjust the stream settings with the stream manager.
Amazon’s streaming platform also offers a Creator Camp that allows you to design your ideal profile. This includes a profile picture, bio, channel banner, profile color, and release schedule, among others.
Finally, you can make sure that your channel isn’t plagued by toxicity and hate speech. Twitch’s moderation tool, AutoMod, blocks inappropriate or harassing chats with powerful moderator control.
Make the most of the Create button on the DualSense controller
After creating a Twitch account, there isn’t much left to do. You need to link your streaming account to the PlayStation network by simply following the on-screen instructions and scanning the QR code. If you’ve already done this with the PS4, it’s even easier to migrate to the PS5.
Note that binding and migration require two-factor authentication.
The PS5 DualSense controller is the most useful accessory that helps in streaming games. Press its Create button while playing any game to take advantage of multiple creation options, including Twitch. The controller also has a mic and you can easily stream audio from it.
Add a stream title, customize the position of the overlay, and choose the video quality options you want and you are ready to go live. To stop broadcasting, press the Create button and click Stop broadcasting.

Within hours of its release, Sony’s next-gen console is already out of stock for several retailers. It certainly owes this success to its attractive proprietary titles and additional features like streaming itself.
