How to stream the 2021 Emmys live

[ad_1]

Last year’s awards season was anything but normal, thanks to the pandemic. And this year’s Emmys, at least, won’t be quite normal either – although that will be more normal than last year’s show, which was held mostly via videoconference. Now the Emmys are back at the Microsoft Theater, with limited attendance, so that’s something.

The ceremony will begin at 5:00 p.m. PT / 8:00 p.m. ET on CBS, and will be hosted by Cedric the Entertainer. Perhaps the biggest development for viewers this year will be the return of the red carpet ahead of the Emmys itself, although CBS isn’t supposed to have its own red carpet show.

Fear not, however, because E! and People / Entertainment Weekly will do their usual jobs. You can read more about it all here.

The streaming situation for the Emmys is pretty straightforward with CBS – you can use a TV service like Hulu With Live TV, YouTube TV, and the like, or you can use the Paramount + streaming service, which is available on mobile, boxes. streaming and in your browser here.

Paramount + offers a free trial for those who haven’t signed up yet. And if you want to watch the Emmys, you’ll need the premium package at $ 9.99 – the ad-free package does not include the CBS channel live stream.
