How to unlock the Mandalorian and Baby Yoda in “ Fortnite ”

The Mandalorian and his sidekick Baby Yoda are the great cross icons of Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 5 Battle Pass. Players can dress up as a galactic bounty hunter turned babysitter, equip his weapons, and even unlock an adorable Baby Yoda companion for the next few weeks.

Like everything Fortnite skins, the Mandalorian’s Beskar armor is cosmetic only and does not grant any in-game bonuses, but it looks great and is tied to some fun in-game quests. To unlock the full Mandalorian skin, just purchase the pass Season 5 battle battle. The skin is an automatic level 1 reward.

Since the Mandalorian base skin is one of the easiest crossbreeds to obtain Fortnite, expect a lot of lookalikes online. If you want to stand out, you can polish your Bounty Hunting Outfit with Beskar armor, the fictional metal that makes Mandalorian armor so tough. You have to complete a checklist of game objectives, with each task awarding you a shiny piece of Beskar armor. These tasks are unlocked as you work through the Battle Pass.

Here’s how to get the full set:

• Right shoulder armor: This is the first coin that Beskar can unlock, and the easiest to obtain. It is hidden in the wreckage of Mando’s ship, the Razer Crest. Open your map and go to the “???” in the Sandy Point area. You’ll know you’re close when you see the smoke and debris. Get on the ship to get the armor.
• Helmet: Complete a bounty within five minutes.
• Left shoulder: Earn weapon specialist rewards (damage other players with five different weapons).
• The left leg: Find the hidden “Deep in the Shark’s Belly” chest. It is located on the second floor of the Shark Facing Mountain near Coral Castle Island, north of the map.
• Right arm: Find and defeat the NPC boss Ruckus who is hiding in the Hydro 16 building of Slurpy Swamp.
• Left arm: Go to “where the earth meets the sky”. Open the chest at the top of the highest mountain southeast of Catty Corner.
• Right leg: Collect 500 gold bars. Accomplish bounties, open chests, chat with NPCs, and take out other players to find them.
• Bullet proof vest: Complete the weekly legendary quest.

Get the Jetpack and Amban sniper rifle

The Mandalorian will appear as a hostile NPC carrying a jetpack and a powerful sniper rifle capable of tracking enemies. Defeat him and he will drop those items as loot that you can equip for the rest of the match. You’ll find him wandering near the Razer Crest crash site – be quick, though, as you need to drop him and slip his loot before other players in the game.

Get the Baby Yoda backpack

The final piece of Mandalorian-themed gear is an adorable Baby Yoda companion who hangs out with your Beskar-dressed character. Players receive the little green dude upon reaching level 100 on the current battle pass. There are two ways to reach level 100: play the game and earn enough EXP, or buy your way to the level cap with V-Bucks.
