Chromebooks continue to impress in the price-quality segment, and the HP Chromebook 15 is no exception. The first-ever 15-inch (15.6-inch) Chromebook HP comes not only with a full-size keyboard and keypad, but also with a black IPS touch screen and 64GB of basic flash memory.

This model starts at $ 449, and you can pay extra to double eMMC storage and a faster Intel Core i5 processor, but the company has not announced how much it will cost.

HP indicates that the device is starting to market today from its online store, but the HP Chromebook 15 list still indicates "coming" for some reason. That said, this device has impressive features for its cost, making it a viable alternative to a standard-sized standard laptop that could cost you a bit more money to access a standard operating system.

Other specifications include 4GB of onboard memory, a built-in Intel HD Graphics 610 graphics processor and up to 13 hours of battery life. The computer system also comes with a wide-angle front facing webcam with two microphones and built-in speakers provided by Bang & Olufsen. The device is available in silver or blue finishes.

The HP Chroembook 15 is a new entry for Chrome OS in the notebook lineup, following the recent entry of Asus into the 15-inch Chromebook market last year. Acer and Lenovo also manufacture 15-inch models.
