Huawei accuses FedEx of hijacking documents to the United States

Huawei was angry, anyway. A spokesman said the alleged hijackings "undermine [Huawei’s] "and that the company" would have to reconsider "its logistical needs accordingly. It had already filed a complaint with the Postal Control Authority of China.

A spokeswoman for FedEx said the packages had been misappropriated "by mistake" and denied that the US government or anyone else had asked to send them elsewhere. It was "working directly" with companies to return parcels to the right people.

While this may make a lot of noise for nothing, this illustrates Huawei's growing indignation as a result of the US-imposed trade ban – the company has already seen many of its biggest US partners , including Google and Intel, abruptly cut access to parts.
