It's probably frustrating for American consumers, not to mention Huawei, that one of the best smartphones on the market remains unavailable. Of course, there are still ways to import these devices, but even Huawei is issuing a warning. So it is probably surprising and almost unbelievable that B & H Photo puts the Huawei P30 and Huawei P30 Pro at the disposal of US buyers on its website. But, as always, there is a problem.
The most important thing that interested buyers should know is that these phones only support GSM networks such as AT & T and T-Mobile, which leaves Sprint and Verizon out of the picture. This is because these models are designed for Latin America and have just been imported to the United States. That said, B & H Photo seems confident that these networks will work with US networks, at least enough to sell them.
The other disadvantage is that only one of the two phones in the P30 series has a warranty, which is limited. The Huawei P30 includes a one year limited warranty from B & H, unlike the P30 Pro. It is not yet clear if the biggest phone will follow.
If these reserves are acceptable, the last obstacle is the price and the waiting period. The Huawei P30, available in Crystal, Midnight Black and Aurora costs $ 599.99 and will be shipped on April 29th. The Huawei P30 Pro in the same colors costs $ 899.99 but the shipping date is not yet available. B & H Photo also sells the $ 319.99 Huawei P30 Lite which has not been covered much.
The Huawei P30 Pro is considered the best Android phone of this year, especially for its prowess in photography. However, it loses on important markets like the United States because of its unavailability. That said, for almost two years, the company has proven that it can cope very well with profits and shipments, even with this market, but only time will tell before it is expelled from the markets of others. American allies for political and security reasons.
