A year after the successful launch of its flagship series Huawei P20 in Paris, Huawei returned to the French capital in March to unveil its range of smartphones Android P9 2019 P30. A tweet posted by the company This morning, the official launch date will be March 26th. The news will be accompanied by images of the Eiffel Tower, the Arc de Triomphe and Notre Dame de Paris, with the commitment to "re-establish the rules". The introductory video includes: a close-up zoom on each of these photos, alluding to the new enhanced zoom capabilities of Huawei's upcoming P30 smartphones.
The most immediate effect of this invitation to mark our calendars is that it will signal that there will be no Huawei flagship phone at the next Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Given the relative lack of leaks on all new Huawei phones, this could have been taken for granted, but we now know for sure that there is still a month before the revelation of the P30. Again, with all the specifications and high performance of the Huawei Mate 20 Pro, the company can feel comfortable even after the conclusion of MWC, that it already has one the best performing smartphones on the market.
While Samsung was holding a special event on February 20, a few days before MWC, to launch its new Galaxy S10 device portfolio, and that Huawei was still leaping the Barcelona show for its own Parisian event, the marque's luster MWC seems to be fading somewhat. On the other hand, both companies can be expected to unveil their futuristic folding devices by the end of the week. It should therefore remain a little enthusiasm and anticipation for the biggest technological showcase of the world of mobile technologies.
