Hudson Valley man writes poignant hours on Facebook after fatal crash on Facebook

A few hours before his death in an accident, a motorcyclist from the Hudson Valley was enjoying the idyllic moment at Lake Greenwood in Orange County.

"Nice day to ride a bike," wrote Jesse Dunn, 38, of Unionville, also in Orange County, around 4 pm on Facebook. Saturday.

He shared a photo of his Kawasaki motorcycle and the view of the Emerald Point & Marina restaurant.

after his bike had crossed the other side of Loomis Avenue and struck the front of a Hyundai Elantra heading north to Wantage, the New Jersey State Police announced .

The Hyundai driver was taken to the Morristown Medical Center with serious injuries, but was stable on Sunday, police said.

Dunn's friends commented on his message in shock.

"I would have liked to call you," wrote one of them.

"I can not believe you were caught just a few hours after this picture," added another. "It does not seem real."

The accident is under investigation Sunday, May 26.
